There's still the possibility of it being the case, but the only way to be sure is to delete your profile and create a new one. If none of this works, then we can probably write off profile being the issue. If that doesn't work, log into the temporary account, restart the PC in a clean manner, then attempt to log into yours. If you can, then log out and try to log into your account. You should create a new user account in safe mode, then see if you can log into it on normal mode. We'll work with that as the possibility at the moment. I am leaning on it being a profile issue, and this would be especially true if you only have one account on that PC. Usually when I hear black screen at Windows logon screen, that means one of 3 things to me: ![]() ![]() It means there's another cause besides a BSOD that's creating this issue.
